Cut vegetables and fruits into noodles, or curly, paper-thin ribbons with this inexpensive yet robust slicer. We recommend the World Cuisine brand over others because it costs about half or less of the price of similar models, makes nicer noodles, is easy to use and clean, and can slice fairly large quantities quickly, and is quite sturdy. Russian Songs – Rachmaninoff, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky

$5.84

This is a wonderful record. The music, mostly mournful in a typically Russian way, enchants ear and heart; the performances are matchless for vocal beauty, expressiveness, and projection of mood, atmosphere, and character, as well as for the incredible quality of the ensemble. DeGaetani, an unusually evocative, versatile artist who tragically died in 1988 at age 56, and Kalish, a splendid pianist …

Stay Healthy on Spring!

Kissed Winter Goodbye! Winter season is finally over.. and we can see lovely flowers budding and blooming now. Though it’s bright and sunny outside, the wind here in Kentucky is still a lil’ bit chilly… I know lots of you are waiting for this day, but are you really ready for Spring..? Or are you feeling like you’re getting a fever on Spring..? Well.. Here are some tips to get you safe and healthy during Springtime.

Spring Allergies- Get your antihistamines ready… And always have your environment ready.. Avoid going to dusty places without bringing a handkerchief with you… Always keep your house clean, whether your bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or living room.. And if possible, have someone vacuum your place, don’t do it by yourself if you really have severe symptoms. Always have a kleenex with you or a hanky, plus a sanitizer always keep in handy to make sure you’re not taking any germs at all or you’re not sharing it to others. And of course, don’t forget to wash your hands… If you are having flu symptoms, drink a lot of water. And avoid drinking fluids on extreme temperatures like too hot or too cold… It will irritate you upper GI system and might as well affect your Upper Respiratory system.

Sun and Sand- Sun really does feel good on the skin, but please don’t burn your pretty skin.. Don’t overexpose your skin under the sun, and remember to put sunscreen of at least SPF of 15 whenever you think you will spend a long time under the sand. And rehydrate your body by drinking lots of water.

Beach Safety- Parents, I think looking for your kids in the beach is a common sense. For teens who love to try new ways in the water, always have someone with you who knows how to swim. And keep your ears alert for danger alarms. So how about partying in the beach and meeting a hot stranger..? A lil’ chat to few sips of drinks… Few exchanges of kisses then turned out to go really wild… Well, just be sure to practice safe sex! Remember that you’re with a stranger.. And not only THAT thing, but if you’re on a date, please think of ways to keep you safe.

Injury- Adjusting physical activities from slumbering in winter to heavy sports in spring must not just be taken lightly. Be sure to have your body conditioned first before doing a heavy work out. For kids, usually they outgrow their roller blades, helmets, and pads.. Be sure to check it before letting your kid play outside. Don’t forget to check the brakes of the bicycle too. And don’t play with ICE or SNOW during spring time. Because that is surely NOT HARD enough to handle your weight. And since the sun is showing up already, that ice is surely melting already.

Travel- Always have your first aid kit with you.. that includes medicines, wound cleanser, and bandages.. When you go camping, bring mosquito repellents with you, but choose those that don’t have strong scent since insects are attracted to perfumes. Always bring your health insurance card with you. If you are planning to go road trip, have your car checked first.. And let your family and trusted friends know that you’re on a travel. Tell them in what you’re gonna travel, when will you leave, and when you’ll be back. Go Green- Add some green in your plate as they become more available in the market. Green vegetables help your circulation by strengthening your liver and kidneys. Hope you guys will have a very nice

Spring season this year. Enjoy!

Why are gravity knives and switch blades illegal but not spring assist knives?

In Canada gravity knives and switch blades are illegal, yet spring assist knives are not. Why is this? Spring assist knives can be opened with one hand, so whats the difference?

It if has a spring, its illegal. Spydercos are cool because that thumb hole opens them up as quick as any and they’re legal if the blade is just under 4″.
