What is the best broadhead?
I’m looking for the best broadhead on the market, wiether it be fixed or mechianical. I shoot the Bear “Charge” set at 55 draw weight with a 27 inch draw length. The arrows are the new Gold Tips with “blazer” vanes. Theres alot out on the market and it gets kinda confusing. Any help or information would be appreciated. Videos also. Id love to see reviews on that type of broadhead and how it stands up to others.
If you use a fixed blade broad head, you will never have a mechanical failure. If you use a mechanical broadhead sooner or later you will have a failure to perform.
Here are 3 of the best fixed broad heads on the market- Slick Trick……Nap Thunderhead…..and Muzzy.
The worst broad head on the market? The Rage Mechanical- if it is a 3 blade rage it has a reputation of not opening up and if it is the 2 blade Rage it has a reputation of the blade retention pin breaking and the blades coming off when it contacts even a rib bone at times.
Here is a video test of several broad heads on a rusty barrel. You will notice the rage was the worst performing broad head out of all of them. You will also see the Slick Trick held up better then any of them and penetrated with the best of them…See for yourself…
