WoW:should a warrior have a cross-bow as a ranged weapon?

i have a warrior and i dont know if he should have a x-bow. i really dont know what weapon he should use either. plz help me . tell me which melee weapon is best for warrior. and whether i should use a x-bow. plz argue with each other and tell me the pros and cons of the melee weapons.

It doesn’t matter whether you use a gun, bow, or crossbow for your ranged weapons; warriors don’t use ranged weapons unless they’re pulling a mob. Use whichever ranged weapon has the best stats. If you are an engineer, you’ll probably want to go with a gun as you can make your own bullets and guns.

Same thing for melee weapons; it doesn’t matter which one you use as long as the stats are good for warriors (warriors don’t need intellect, so a weapon with intellect is not going to be as useful regardless of its DPS). Keeping in mind that it takes a while to level up a weapon, your best bet would probably be to find something you like and stick with it so that you’re always fighting at your maximum capabilities.

I answered your other question about how to spec, so I’ll just repeat what I said there: Protection should only be used later in the game, when you’re tanking for raids. It’s not really beneficial if you’re playing solo because it will hinder your speed and efficiency at leveling. (And fury warriors don’t make the best tanks because they’re not as good at holding aggro.) Your DPS would be higher if you specced fury (or a fury/arms blend), and you would definitely want to dual wield then.

So if you go fury/arms, use two weapons (dual wield). Pick good stats (strength, stamina are the best) and go with it. If you’d rather have high DPS but take a while longer to kill, go with a 2H weapon, again with appropriate stats.
