Hearing Protection: A Brief Guide
Hearing protection is absolutely imperative to the lasting health of your inner ear. Whether through exposure to loud music, power tools, heavy machinery or even just prolonged exposure to traffic: it is disconcertingly easy for neglect of auditory health to result in long-term, irreversible hearing damage. Alongside the danger of exposure to loud noise, there are other factors which can impact upon your auditory health: such as the risk of infection when swimming or following an operation on the ear canal. Protection from Dangerous Noise
There are numerous places of employment and recreation which can potentially damage you long-term hearing. Best comfortable ear protection?
I need hearing protection for like jackhammer-level noise. No radios or wires or frills or anything but is gotta be COMFORTABLE enough to wear all day but still block out the sound.
Any recommendations? and where can I buy it? its better if its from a store so i can get a recepit.
There are two main sorts of hearing protection – ear muffs and ear plugs.
But there are different grades used for conditions and noises.
I recommend that you look up work safety retailers in your area and visit the store. A good sales person will help you – if they don’t ask about the noise levels and conditions then don’t buy from them.
