Summer Is Here. Time To Get Ready. Pull Out The Pocket Knife
A new season is approaching fast, SPRING!! Yes, winter is coming to an end and it is time to think about spring and summer. It is time to pull out the fishing tackle, the boats, the camping gear and more. Put away the skis, snowshoes and winter coats, pull out the hiking boots, wetsuits and shorts.
It is time to generate that list of summer projects you want to complete this year. Time to start planning those weekend getaways or even day outings. I don’t know about every one else but I get excited when summer is approaching. Love to get outdoors and not be bundled from head to toe.
Now, before summer is here, is the time to check out your summer gear. Be it fishing tackle or camping gear, need to ensure everything is in working order and that you have everything you need for your outing. I believe now is the time to get started and not to wait until you are trying to actually go on a trip. Of course we all have the tendency to procrastinate but if you start now you should have time to pull out the stuff and in your down time browse through it .
Now if you are fisherman, a diver, and an outdoorsman make sure you have that perfect knife (pocket knife, diver’s knife, or survival knife) in good working order. If you do not have that perfect knife or it is not in good working order it is time to look around for the perfect knife or clean the one you have. For the handyman looking to start on the summer project list make sure you have the perfect Leatherman tool available.
Get ready to jump out and begin playing in that big back yard – be it a national park, state reserve, a lake or a local park. Spend this summer bicycling, hiking, rafting, horseback riding, fishing, golfing, diving, cannoning and more!!
Being in Colorado one of my favorite spots is Steamboat Lake at Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Do you have a favorite outdoors spot?

I’ve read a few positive reviews. Looking for more opinions.
Wow, you people don’t have a clue, do you?
I’ve got a regular Seal Pup and the larger Seal 2000, both are good knives. They’ve got sharp blades that keep their edge pretty well and can sharpen nicely (if you have the skills). They’re incredibly durable and the handle does not get slippery as someone mentioned it might.
