Great to have in your pocket1
I cant tell you how many times i go to reach for my tool bag and cant find the right type of driver. Since I have been carrying this in my pocket i dont have to waste my time looking for a tool that i dont know is.

ya he probado las puntas y de verdad son mejores de lo que esperaba el estucho es bastante simple (yo siempre he usdo el de clip)pero en general el cunjunto y el precio es una buena compra
lacking small bits
Purchased the bit assortment so i can leave my fine tools at home while on vacation. i find that mini screws on sunglasses and camera equipment tend to need tightening after the abuse they take when hiking or on dive boats. the leatherman kit does include a fine phillips bit but the ultra-fine eyeglass bit does not appear to be designed to fit into my skeletool. the eyeglass bit is useful but needs to be “handheld” or used while in the plastic storage case.
Nice addon kit for Leatherman
Bought it as a addon kit for my Leatherman Charge.
Here is my take on this kit..
Pros -
1) High quality bits
2) Decent carrying sheath
3) Very Compact for carrying (Belt or bag)
4) Bits lock well on the Leatherman tool
Cons -
1) Works only with Leatherman tool
2) Very short reach
3) Redundant kit (if you already own Many hex bits and the Bit extender driver for Leatherman)
4) Lots of useless bits (You may never need many of those bits)
5) Lots of standard bit not included (The ones needed for bikes and bolts)
Overall an average kit. Recommended if you can ignore the cons !!

Leatherman Multi tool, if you could only take one for survival, which model do you recommend?
I am looking at Charge AL or ALX, and Surge.
Which one and why? Any other suggestion ?
I have used one and also had one with me. I use one for work in the construction field, boy scouts, and just everyday use and camping.
I find the TTi to be the best because it has the most tools and the main tools that you will use are on the outside so when you need them you dont have to open it up also when you us the blades you dont have to worry about it trying to fold in on you while using it.
Out of the two models you said i would get the AL its a lil cheaper and its really the same design as the TTi just has less tools on it.
