Waste Management Removes and Creates a Green Environment

In the past few years, the so-called green revolution has been a phenomenon. Especially when global warming started to be felt and calamity after calamity has destroyed too many lives and properties. Today, everyone seemed to be participating in this global movement. Some people conduct tree-planting activities. Others engage in energy conservation efforts. A few search for alternative fuel sources. Several initiate riverside clean-ups.

Not so many, though, realizes that creating a green environment starts at the home. It is as simple as proper Solid Waste Management Disposal. Stranco, Inc. however recognizes the importance of solid waste management to the environment yet, understands the inability of some to deal with their trash due to several factors. Thus, the company offers both hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal, transportation and disposal.

Among its numerous efficient and cost-effective services is its waste transport service. Aside from solid waste transportation, hazardous chemical transportation, it also proposes waste water transportation. Besides waste water, other liquids that it transports may include bulk liquids like acetone, caustic soda, chemicals, methanol, potassium hydroxide, pulp mill liquids, sodium hydroxide, soap skimming, tall oil, toluene, and xylene.

The company provides more than 300 high capacity and specialized tankers and trailers that come with liners, locking tail gates and roll tarps. These vehicles enable the easy yet secured waste water transportation. Through the transfer services maneuvered by adept personnel, spills, leaks and other ill effects of mishandling would not occur. The client availing of the transportation offering would not be the only one to gain but also his/her neighbors and everyone within the length of the route of the vehicles. They will not be in danger of contamination. The surrounding is not at risk of impurities—another contribution to the green revolution. Other specialized heavy equipments that may be included in disposing wastes are bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, roll-off boxes, tractors, wheel loaders and many more.

These services will be done by personnel who are educated and trained, especially in the distinct requirements of removing, repackaging, handling, transporting and disposing of waste water, contaminated and non-contaminated liquids. The drivers are experts in managing and transferring waste water and other materials. They comply with the requirements of different states and Canadian provinces the company has been providing with services and abide by the policies of the company regarding waste management. A 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) training and another 8-hour safety and health training have equipped them with the knowledge and prepared them for challenges. Annual and project-specific refresher trainings are also provided especially to those designated to handle and transport wastes.

Knowing what to do with one’s waste is taking a step for the betterment of the environment. Recycling appropriate trash is a known environmental action. But even when someone asks a waste transport service, and such company sends his/her waste to landfills or creeks, the wastes are still processed and turned into an alternative fuel source or purified to be used again. With a simple act, anyone can create a green environment.

packing a ruck for a female cadet?

looking for any help with packing a ruck.
are dry liners still used if you use zip lock bags?
if dry bags/liners are used, how many and what size?
if you placed all your gear on the floor and started to pack your ruck, what goes in first and where dose it go?
when using zip lock bags, do you place 1 pair of undewear in its own bag and your bra in another or do they go together?
what and how much gear do you take for a week long hike?

for a week, I take one pair of underwaer per day unless you waer under wear at night then I pack undies for night wear as well sinc eyou won’t be taking a shower. I use a water proof bag, it is issued to soldiers, if you don;t have one, use zip lock bags for all your intimates. I would pack as many undies in one zip lock bag as possible and all bras in one zip lock bag as possible. I put all intimates in the sides of the ruck because in the dark its easy to find and usually on FTX’s (trianing with the military, we had to get dress int he dark). All my shirts and pants ect (except for a flashlight-that went in t he front pocket of the ruck or a couple of glow sticks) went in the ruck. I took emergency tampons or pads in the pockets unless I got a surprise in zip lock bags. I would take a pastic bag from the grocery store, just to pack my laundry in, so I would knwo the differance bewteen dirty and clean cloths. I would put shoes on the top of everything else sinc ethey weigh so much because you don;t want allt he weigh ont he bottom of the ruck, your back will let you know why.
