I’m looking to make a steampunk hat pin for a cadet hat I own, and I want to model it on old pilots’ wings. If I wanted to combine wings, a metal gear and maybe some sort of fancy button, would soldering be the best way to fix them to some sort of pin base? If not, please advise!
