Details of contact lens insertion
Contact lenses have been widely used to correct vision problems, including astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness and so on. Some people prefer contact lenses to eyeglasses because these lenses free them from bulky frames. Contact lenses are widely reported that they are more convenient than eyeglasses.
In addition, contact lenses move with the eyes in any direction so that wide peripheral vision can be ensured. Nowadays, contact lenses have quite a few types, such as soft contacts, rigid gas permeable contacts, daily wear lenses, extended wear lenses, colored contacts and so on. These different types suit people with different personality and vision needs.
Customers should usually get an eye doctor’s advice on selecting the suitable lens type. What’s more, some basic tips of lens insertion, removal as well as caring are also important for a new comer to contact lenses. These tips of lens care are essential to maintain eye health.
Before inserting the lenses, a wearer should make certain preparation. Contact lenses must be clean and hygienic, which tolerates no compromise. In order to avoid any eye infection and damage, the wearer should wash his hands thoroughly with hot water and soap before handling lenses. Then use a lint-free towel to dry the hands.
The next step is to open the contacts package, which usually comes in a multipack. In most cases, there are six individually packaged lenses in the multipack. This package method can ensure each lens with maximum sterility.
Opening up the lens package also requires some skills. There is an opening flap on the front of the multipack and the wearer can pull it to break the seal. In order to check an individual lens, the wearer can shake it gently and the lens should be floating in the enclosed solution. Putting the lens package on a flat surface, he can then peel back the foil covering to reveal the lens.
When it comes to lens handling, the wearer should maintain a habit of handling the same lens first, which is quite necessary to avoid mixing up. Lenses removed from the package should be clean and free of debris and tears. In addition, it is also necessary to check if a lens is inside out. Placed on the forefinger, a lens should normally like a bowl.
After enough examination of a lens, the wearer can start to place the lens in the eye. The middle finger of the same hand that holds the lens can be used to pull down the lower eyelid of the eye. And the other hand should be used to lift the upper eyelid. Then gently place the lens and it will automatically adjust into a proper place.

I can review other photos i’ve taken, but cant close the lens, so its just sticking out.
The screen is fine.
Please and thank you
Its a Traveler DC-XZ6 with 6 x super zoom
I did the same thing to a camera I had. Since it was a couple of years old I didn’t even try to get it fixed, but I did sell it on eBay as a “fixer upper”.
Anyway, at this point all you can do is either repair or replace the camera. Contact the manufacturer and see what they would charge to repair it. If the minimum repair cost is more than half the price of a new camera, you probably should just buy a new camera.
