Are picatinny rails and RIS Rails (Rail Interface System) the same thing?
I want to buy a forearm grip with a hidden bipod that pops out, for my AR-15 firearm. The ad states it fits RIS Rails. Please help. Thanks
If it doesn’t say milspec rail system (i.e. picatinny) than it probably isn’t…I’d check for sure.
FYI, I’d suggest against putting bipods on ar-15’s…if you ever get in a real shooting scenario they just slow down muzzle movement and if you are in the field they tend to get caught on stuff…instead I suggest a vertical hand hold.
