Lightening Nocks With Long Lasting Light and Different Arrow Sizes

Hunting can be done in the forest areas or the areas, which are very far away from the city, where electricity is rarely available. Areas where there are no facilities. In that whole dark night and remote places, how you could enjoy hunting if your lightening nocks have a limited period of light? Manufacturers of lighting nocks have taken this in mind and to keep the electronics circuit and the light on going, lightening nock are well equipped with ultra modern batteries, which lasts for a long time when fully charged. The design of the battery is the beauty behind that.

In the lightening nock an LED is filled in the interior along with the circuit board. This LED glows inside the lightening nock that lasts for optimum time and the beam of that LED is quite focused. The brightness of LED in lightening nock is approximately 6000-8000 Flux, which gives an additional light, when required. The electric consumption of this LED in lightening nock is negligible. It has a single stick mini stick in it. There is also a tool-less wire pin type battery holder (no mechanical parts). The battery inside lightening nock is a mix of customized Lithium Pin type and can operate for a wide range of temperature. 24K gold plating on this battery connector gives it superfluously reliable. Both, the battery and the lightening nock can be charged very easily on the field. Typically the battery in lightening nock has a varying temperature of -40 to -145 degree Fahrenheit.

You would find different models of lighting nocks. Magnetic Hunter Tracer is a meticulous model, which remain lit for as long as 48 hours.

Some people may get stunned when it is said that lightening nock turns ON automatically as soon as the arrow is fired. It is totally hassle- free and no button pushing is required. Lightening nock is very easy to mount; or rather I would put it that it is user friendly. You wouldn’t require battery stopper, or glue or heat or any other device.

Whenever the hunter shoots an arrow at the target, the light on the nock illuminates from inside the lightening nock as soon as it leaves the bow and passes above from the magnet.

The weight of collection of lighting nocks only adds to about 39 grains to the arrow shaft. Synopsis is that a short of one inch for a distance of thirty yards is a negligible. Thanks to lighting nock. A hunter can slide Tracer magnets, batteries and electronics circuits into these lighting nocks. This is on account of special patented design. These parts are flexible and can be easily replaced while on the field.

The size support of the lightening arrow for the arrows is quite flexible. One may find Tracer collection of lighted nocks foe arrows such as Carbon Edge ICS, Carbon Revolution, Carbon Aeros, Carbon Tech Rhino, Carbon Tech Cheetah, Carbon Express, Carbon Tech Whitetail, Gold tip, Epsilon, Laser Pro, Quick Strike, PSE-Carbon Force, Super Carbon Hunter, Side Winder, Satellite, Super Carbon Supreme, Venture and Vapor and so on.

The Tracer collection of lighted nocks can be used for arrows such as the Carbon Edge, Beman ICS, Carbon Revolution, Carbon Aeros, Carbon Tech Rhino, Carbon Tech Cheetah, Carbon Express, Carbon Tech Whitetail, Gold tip, Epsilon, Laser Pro, Quick Strike, PSE-Carbon Force, Super Carbon Hunter, Side Winder, Satellite, Super Carbon Supreme, Venture and Vapor etc. These lighting nocks may be used for the aluminum single-bushing mechanism arrows, the ACC 3-60 as well as 3-71, x-nock etc.

Arrows 200 vs 300?

I’m shooting a PSE Nova Solo Cam set at 63# and have arrow length of 28-1/2″, topped off with Muzzy 3 blade fixed @ 100 grain. My current arrows are PSE Carbon Force 200 series. Charts tell me at that weight (63#) I can go with the 200’s or the 300’s.

What is the difference in the two (200 vs 300)? Are they thicker, larger diameter or what? Suggestions from knowledgeable hunters are always welcome.

The 300 will be a little heavier than the 200 for the same length arrow. The 200 will shoot slightly faster but the 300 will have more kinetic energy for better penetration. To find kinetic energy you multiply the weight of the arrow (including the point) by the velocity squared and then divide that by 450,240 and it will give you the kinetic energy in ft/lbs. BTW, I’ve shot Muzzy broad heads since they came out and so do all the guys I hunt with. We’ve taken wild boars, several bears, 2 elk and so many deer I couldn’t even begin to take a guess. Still the best out there in my humble opinion. Good luck with whichever arrow you choose.
