The Hunnish invention, the recurve bow, was used in history a lot. I need to know specifically what wars it won and why it was an important invention.

A recurve bow is a bow made of several different pieces of wood connected together, rather than one long piece of wood.
They are, for all intents and purposes, a lot easier to use than their predecessor. Before them, you had the choice of a longbow ( if you were even that luckey) which had a longer range and the punch to penetrate some armour… but took years to master, or a smaller bow of the same skill requirement as the recurve bow, but it simply didn’t compare in terms of power.
The significance of the bow is also seen in that is can easily be used from horseback. This meant when faces with the typical Frankish( western europe… not just France ) style of warfare which was heavily armored horsemen to punch a hole, and light infantry to finish the fight, a group of skilled horse men with recurve bows could inflict a lot of casualties with few or no losses.
this meant there were problems for those who based their style of warfare on the ’superior’ Europeans, as they had very little hope of catching these skirmishing horsemen, which hurt moral as much as numbers.
