Getting the Design Just Right
When it comes to choosing the design of the railings, it is important to realize that you do not have to match the design of the deck with the railings. For example, you could choose a base which is made of wood due to the fact that it is durable. However, you may wish to have an iron railing. It is important to write down everything that you need to know before going on a search for the perfect materials and accessories. Include all measurements, what theme you are going for i.e. modern, contemporary, and what material you would prefer.

Would you recommend taking the commuter train (Tri Rail) from Ft Lauderdale airport to W. Palm Beach?
I’m planning to vacation in Palm Beach Shores (PBS) area, but plan to fly in to the Fort Lauderdale airport. I’m aware of car service available between the two, but it’s more than I want to pay. If you know anything about the commuter train that appears to be available, would you recommend it? How long of a trip is it from airport to PBS? Thank you.
Save big bucks with the train. You can grab Bus FLA 1 at any lower-level terminal at the Fort Lauderdale airport, which makes a stop at the nearest Tri-Rail station on Griffin Road for $1.50 (exact change only). Buy a train ticket at the Griffin Road train station that will take you to the northernmost point that Tri-Rail goes (Mangonia Park) for $6.25 ($5.00 on the weekends). Take the northbound to the last stop. The train ride is about an hour long. After going through all of this, you’ll find that the last train stop at Mangonia Park does not get you to Palm Beach Shores, and you’re going to come up short by a couple of miles. Palm Beach County Bus 33 can pick you up at the Mangonia Park train terminal, which then goes northbound to Blue Heron Blvd. Be sure to present your Tri-Rail ticket to the bus driver at the train station and tell the driver you’ll need to transfer to Bus 30. Get a reduced fare with that train ticket. Again, exact change only, or just feed a buck into the little machine and say to heck with the spare change. At Blue Heron Blvd, transfer to Bus 30, which cruises to various stops in Palm Beach Shores. By the way, hide that wad on cash on Bus 33, and let’s hope you’re not hauling a lot of luggage ’cause you’re gonna’ stick out like a sore thumb waiting for Bus 30 to come along.
